Baby, you never let me down. Relying on line and shape as per usual Philo, this collection does not lack femininity but uses it in a seemingly obvious way. The big curves of the oversized coats and the swing of the pure, creamy, skirts. Color remains muted until the large tartan appears. The oversized white Swiss dot coat is my favorite piece. I am consistently marveling at the perfect balance of these shows. Everything has movement but is stiff. The separates are so severe they look like paper cut outs but their lack of texture makes them appear soft as soy milk. I think olive was the perfect choice for a fall accent color as well. While so many shows this season have given their take on the oversized sleek coat, these still seem the most graceful and effortless. May the queen of minimalism reign.
